Berpay Business is a digital wallet and payment application designed for Bermuda businesses. It allows approved merchants to create QR code invoices, accept payments from Berpay customers, and manage their digital wallet and transactions.
Create an invoice in the Berpay Merchant app and display the generated QR code. Your customer scans the code using their Berpay app, reviews the payment details, and confirms the transaction.
No additional payment terminal is required for Berpay QR code payments. You can create and display invoices directly from your smartphone.
The proposed merchant pricing includes a 2% wallet transaction fee and a withdrawal fee.
Berpay uses USD Coin (USDC), a US dollar-denominated digital asset. USDC is not a bank deposit, and its value and redemption are subject to digital asset risks.
Berpay supports withdrawals of USDC to supported external exchanges or wallets. Direct deposits and withdrawals to Bermuda bank accounts are coming soon.
In the meantime, merchants may use an external exchange or wallet to convert USDC and withdraw funds to their bank accounts, subject to the provider requirements.
Berpay’s QR code invoicing feature allows customers to pay using the Berpay app or supported external Solana wallets holding USDC. Support for additional blockchains is coming soon, making it even easier for businesses to accept payments.
Yes. Berpay Limited was issued a Digital Asset Business Class T Licence by the Bermuda Monetary Authority on August 26, 2026, covering specified digital asset payment and custodial wallet services.

Once approved, you can start accepting payments.
Berpay’s initial onboarding is focused on eligible Bermuda residents and Bermuda businesses. International busienss onboarding is not currently offered.
